Andrea Evans
Born in Germany, but living in the U.S. for more than 30 years, Ms. Evans is formerly a substance abuse counselor. She is in her 5th year of teaching English. Ms. Evans graduated with a BA from the University of New Mexico and received a Masters from the University of Oklahoma.

Alexus Uentillie
Ms. Uentillie is from Shiprock, NM and an alumni of Shiprock High School. She earned a B.A. in English with concentration in creative writing from Willamette University in Salem, OR. She enjoys reading, writing, watching movies/TV shows, and spending time with family.

Alejandro Diaz
Mr. Diaz' hometown is Chicago, IL and he graduated from DePauw University. Mr. Diaz identifies himself as a Mexican-American and is proud to be the first born of immigrant parents. He is a lover of soccer, dogs, and the oxford comma. Mr. Diaz loves to focus on his personal health. He would like to travel and one day teach in Latin America.

Saras Reddy
Read the word, Read the world.
Ms. Reddy began teaching in South Africa over 30 years ago during the transformational period from apartheid to Democracy, which was driven by the country's youth. She believes in literacy for social justice and that Education prepares students to find their niche in the world. She also believes education helps students to understand that they are responsible for transforming the world to make it more equitable.

Charles Ralston
Mr. Ralston enjoys reading, writing, and saving whales. This is Mr. Ralston's first year of teaching at Shiprock High School. Mr. Ralston is a graduate of Whitman College.
